Eclipse ExtensoJet

The ExtensoJet is a nozzle-mix burner that is designed to fire an intense stream of hot gases through a silicon tipped extended combustor using ambient combustion air.

The ceramic, brick and tile industries have traditionally built thick kiln walls to conserve heat. Conventional burners do not have exit velocities suffient to allow hot gases to penetrate the load.

The ExtensoJet was designed to extend through the kiln wall to significantly increase hot gas penetration and circulation of the products of combustion. The high velocity of the gases improves temperature uniformity, product quality and system efficiency. The gas velocity can be as high as 150 m/s. The combustor comes in varying lengths from 500 to 1400 mm.

Eclipse ThermJet Liquid

The ThermJet Liquid burners are nozzle mix burners for light or heavy oil. The burners are designed to operate on low pressure atomizing air and will operate efficiently throughout a wide operating range. Typical applications include high temperature kilns and forge and melting furnaces.

All burner models can be controlled on-ratio with a cross-connected fuel regulator to maximize efficiency, or with fixed air to improve temperature uniformity in the furnace. The standard burner configuration includes a manual adjustable oil flow metering valve. The burner can be supplied with an optional oil pressure gauge to simplify piping, set-up and adjustment.

Eclipse ThermJet Self-Recuperative

New design combines a high velocity flame with fuel saving recuperation. The Eclipse TJSR is a direct fired self-recuperative burner design based on the industry proven ThermJet burner technology.

An eductor is used to draw furnace exhaust through the integral metallic or ceramic recuperator. The recuperator preheats the incoming combustion air to improve the furnace operating efficiency, and thereby helping to save fuel.

Eclipse Furnnox

The Furnnox is a low NOx direct fired burner, capable of producing NOx emissions less than 30 ppm at 3% O2.

To achieve high efficiency, the Furnnox burners are controlled on-ratio throughout the operating range and can be operated with combustion air temperatures as high as 600 °C. The burner can be supplied with an insulated burner body to make it more operator friendly.
